Our History

Williams Paving was founded by Bill Williams in 1974. In 1976, Chris Williams joined the company, and they became the first in Western Massachusetts to use the new line of self-propelled driveway paving machines. Over the years, the company grew steadily, expanding into larger projects such as municipal paving and excavations for subdivisions. By the early 1990s, Williams Paving had become a multi-million dollar operation and had split into two divisions: paving and excavation. In 2006, the heavy excavating was spun off to Chris Williams Excavating, and the companies continue to maintain a strong relationship.

Our team is dedicated to providing the best possible service to our clients. Owner Brendan McGonagle has been with Williams Paving for over ten years and is committed to carrying on the company's principles of excellence and customer satisfaction. Bill Williams, the founder, continues to work closely with the company as a consultant and project manager.

Our Services

At Williams Paving, we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our clients. Our residential services include paving driveways of any size with materials such as asphalt, gravel/airport mix, or oil/tar and stone. For commercial clients, we handle large-scale parking lots, driveways, and outdoor athletic surfaces. We have also worked with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) on public roads for over 25 years.
