Our Story

It all started in 1947 when our great uncle, Alvin Garrett, painted the first center line down Main Street in Amarillo, Texas. Since then, four generations of the Garrett Family have provided line striping services throughout the Southern United States. In 1995, our founder, Mike Garrett, moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and started Lone Star Paving, providing comprehensive services for any surfacing project from initial grading to asphalt paving, seal coating, concrete roads, and road signs. Our goal is to communicate effectively with our clients and focus on providing quality work that you can trust.
