Our vision is to create a legacy that marries artistic design with respect for our natural coral and other shell resources, using innovative technologies in our processes. We proudly market our designs to the A & D community and other industries worldwide.
Our company is strategically located in South Florida, a region that provides the natural aggregate resource for the foundation of our SeaStone product design. Our exclusive partnership arrangement with a fishery plant in New Zealand provides another resource for importation of other waste shell for our production processes.
The Nautilus, a symbol of genesis, perfect harmony, and geometric beauty, represents our corporate and brand symbol for the SeaStone Product Line. Our name, Matrix, is synonymous with the definition of matrix (a substance in which something is embedded or enclosed) and ends with the developer's Initial Z.
In 2002, our company was recognized by the EPA for our efforts in preserving the Florida Coral in our region by developing a stone product using the waste elements of sand mining and branding it SeaStone. This innovative product incorporates the natural loose fossil aggregate found in the foundation of our region and is manufactured into a stone that replicates the beauty of our natural coral. Other recycled elements, such as glass and other shell derived from the fishing industry, are also used in our manufacturing process. We are committed to ecological responsibility and have been recognized for this long before recycling became a trend.
Our Products
*SeaStone*
Our SeaStone products are cementitious stones containing a proprietary admixture using natural fossil shell and other aggregates. Each piece is designed to replicate the appearance of natural stone, with variations from piece to piece. An enhanced manufacturing process applies tons of pressure to each unit, fusing the aggregates and fossils together, which simulates a natural occurrence. This unique process ensures a more durable product with high compression strength and low water absorption qualities, providing an alternative to the use of natural stone.
*SeaTile*
Our SeaTile collection features natural shell tiles and man-made composition tiles that incorporate crushed shell and other aggregates. These tiles are designed for interior use and are available in various collections to complement our SeaStone brand. The SeaTile Specialty Gem Collection and other composition tiles are designed for both interior and exterior applications.
*SeaGems*
Our SeaGems products offer authentic gem-quality crushed shell, available in various sizes from fines to large-size shell. Tumbled crushed shell is incorporated in the manufacturing process of architectural tile, stone, terrazzo, and may also be used in enhancement of swimming pool finishes. With no two pieces being the same, each piece reflects their inherent natural luster and iridescence.
*FuZstone*
Our FuZstone product line features a unique designed fusion of the SeaTile Specialty Gem Collection and the SeaStone Collection, engineered for interior and exterior application use, such as counter slabs and table tops. They may also be used as edge trim.
Service and Knowledge
Reviews highlight both exceptional assistance and disappointing experiences. Jeff Douglas, a satisfied customer, was impressed with the staff's knowledge about exotic tile and thanked them for their help. On the other hand, A. Wiggins and R. Sharma both experienced poor customer service, with the location being closed when they attempted to visit and phone calls going unanswered.
Product Quality and Shipments
Some customers were unhappy with the quality of products they received. Maggie Rockwell's items were broken upon shipment, and she had to deal with Wayfair, which didn't provide any assistance. The company's response has been delayed, and she warns others not to buy from this company.
