Our Story
The story of Affordable Pavers began with Joe DeVito, who spent many winters in Cape Coral, Florida, before making it his permanent home in 1973. Joe's family operated a lawn business while he was in high school, which eventually grew into a landscaping, sod, and sprinkler business that spanned 32 years. After selling the business, Joe turned his attention to selling brick pavers before deciding to start his own company.
Joe merged his business with that of his long-time friend and fellow business owner, Tom Kelley. Tom has been involved in the construction industry most of his life, working alongside his father and eventually earning his General Contractor's license. Tom's construction company, Thomas W. Kelley Custom Builders, Inc., has been serving the Southwest Florida community since 1981.
